I did some night fisning this weekend. Water was like glass both nights. Water temps in the low 70's. i decided all i would throw was black buzzbaits and spinnerbaits. Friday night the smallies where lighting it up. caught 6 smallies and 2 large mouth. Top 5 were smallies going just over 13 lbs. they were all about the same size.17-18 in. i stood in the rocky area's most of the night. Fun night for smallies. Saturday night i headed for the shallow grassy areas in seach for large mouth. We found them in the coves . One that went 4 lbs. inhaild the buzzbait all the way to the buzzer. The next one took the spinner bait deep that also pushed 4 lbs as well. top 5 largies going just over 16 .Fishing seems to be turning back on around my way. Im thinking the full moon might of helped.any way here is a pic of a couple smallies. im trying to get the largie pics. dont think they came out to good but i will post them if there not to bad. | |

Next summer I've got to try this night fishing. I've always wanted to see what it is like. Great job, you have some nice fish there.
