Make sure you get it into the heaviest cover work it good. The split tail trailer has been working better than the others now.

heaviest cover is the absolute ticket to catching not only good, but most fish right now.  I been out a few times up here north and even in my small retention ponds, I was only getting bites near the limited cover that was available.  I've had good luck with steady retrieving the chatter then give it a solid 1-3 hard turns to make it erratic then back to steady.  Most fish hit the second time you repeat this pattern.
