Make sure you get it into the heaviest cover work it good. The split tail trailer has been working better than the others now. | |

heaviest cover is the absolute ticket to catching not only good, but most fish right now. I been out a few times up here north and even in my small retention ponds, I was only getting bites near the limited cover that was available. I've had good luck with steady retrieving the chatter then give it a solid 1-3 hard turns to make it erratic then back to steady. Most fish hit the second time you repeat this pattern. | |
