I haven't purchased the new KVD 1.0 crankbait.  Has anyone tried it out yet and had any luck?  The 1.5 version is so good, i don't know whether even to bother with it.

No I am using the 1.5 and 2.5 but honestly, 90% of the time I throw a Lucky Craft RC 1.5 or another variety of Lucky craft. I just have had better overall results with them over the years on all types of water. Right now several are on sale at TW.

Bass pro makes an rc 1.5 knock off that looks really good for 4 $. Im going to pick some up to try. Manns 1- work great and there cheap, so they may be also. Here they ARE

Thats awesome, hows he doing? I didnt mean the 1- as a replacement as the small bill wont deflect like a big square bill, but i meant you dont need to spend alot to get a quality product.

Lucky Strike is OK.

You had mentioned some other lucky craft lures. Were they the smashers?

Lucky Craft makes a whole bunch just like the C 1.5 but a shade different, they just aren't RC baits. Here they are Lucky Craft<<

and yes The Reese are similar and several others I use also.

Thanks, i will get a couple and go from there.  i just want to get decent quality baits. I lost a bunch of good ones.  I went out and got a telescoping pole lure retriever.  I will never leave the dock without it now!

If anyone is looking to buy  KVD 1.0, it look's exactly like a Bagley dkb-1 with a square lip.  It is a nice compact bait, that i think will do well around wood. I will be ordering a couple more!

Not much wood here in MN but small cranks like the 1.0 are killer around the docks here in spring and early summer
