THE BASS COLLEGE

Well it wasn't gigantic  but it was big for this time of year . It weighed 4lbs.  I caught it on a jig working it real slow. I tried a chatterbait and a few smaller swimbaits but only had the one big bite on the jig.

Pretty cool Greg. I think I may just know EXACTLY where that is? lol Good job.

Thanks Steve..This is in the backyard of one of my customer's houses...its not the honeyhole where you caught the 7.5 in the rain lol.

Was that bass caught in delaware.i thought all the bass here swam south.

I actually went to lake x today for a 1/2 hour,it was very windy.

It's the same pond where I caught the 6.5lber last month and the guy that lives there claims there's an 8+ lber in there which I'll try to find in the spring.

Nice job Greg. Tomorrow looks like the last day for me to hit the water before the weather turns... Keep at it while you can guys. Going to be a long winter after looking at these pic being posted.

Yep..It's in New Castle County.

Thats great,i know its really tuff now,was it really windy there.

There's alot of trees around where I was standing so the wind wasn't too bad.

Steve, are you going to do any contest like last year's first fish of the year? But limit it to us cold states above Virginia lol.

We haven't decided what contest we are doing yet so stay tuned. lol

Nice fish Greg - sorry we didnt get back out again this fall - fishing wasnt too good in my fav ponds this fall - hurrican Irene changed water quality of all local ponds due to septic overflow - really messed things up. Hope to fish with you again in 2012!
