Jan 06, 2012, Tim’s Ford Fishing Reports – Spent a great day catching smallmouth on with returning Client Ben from Virginia. We put in at Devil’s Step and fished the Mid Lake area. We caught lots of fish mainly after 11am, the best fish came on half ounce Tightline Football Jig’s (Guntersville Special and Pumpkin Orange) and 3/16 ounce Spot Removers rigged with a finesse worm fished on 17 and 6 pound test Vicious Pro Elite Fluorocarbon. Water temps are 49 at Devils Step and 51degrees this afternoon down lake. Don’t miss out on some great winter smallmouth action on Tim’s Ford.
