I'm looking to replace some of the hooks on my baits especially my swimbaits. I'm thinking of going with the new trokars when they come out. I've had a pair of them that I won from them and I think they are very good hooks. I was wanting to see what brand everyone else likes and why?

Mustad KVD Elite Series 2x . If the bass misses the bait these hooks can snag them.

I used them all year long and saw no difference in the hook ups between them and my Gamakatsu hooks. Actually there were several instances where I thought i lost a fish becasue of them. Thats just my experience though, but I dont think they are worth it.

I might just save the money and stick with Gamakatsu hooks and try some mustard hooks too.

Id stick to the Gamakatsu or Mustand Elites, they are both great hooks that are proven. The Trokars are very sharp but not sure the hookup to loss ratio as of yet since arent really out.
