Hey guys, I was looking to add a few more jigs to my arsenal, but downsize them. I'm looking at the Strike King Bitsy jigs and their finesse jigs, I think the tour grade ones. Probably around 1/4oz with a smaller trailer. Does anyone use these specific jigs? I like that the hooks are fairly big on the standard jigs, I have a few Denny Brauer ones and I like them.

What do they have in them for hooks. The price isn't bad.

I think the finesse ones have gamakatsu's but I'm not sure what the bitsy ones have. It just says a bigger mustad hook. They are pretty cheap too.

I was just wondering how the trailers were on the hooks, if there was enough room. I like the fact that they're so inexpensive and smaller. I'm looking into the baby rage craws or the strike king bitsy craws. do you use those as the trailers?

if you just want to down size use the bitsy jig but if you want to fish finesse use the finesse jig or if you want you can cut some strands off the bitsy and it will be a finesse jig also

the finesse ones are 2$ more but they have such better colors. I figured they were close to the same size, I just want it to have good hooks whichever one I pick. The bitsy ones have the weight in the hook as well, I dont know how I feel about that.

I would just pay the extra money -IMO I dont fish 20 different color jigs so i can normally just pick them when i ever i have extra money. My main colors are black, black n blue, black n red, green pumkin and bluegill sometimes. truthfully you are better off with Dirty jigs they are the best, as a finesse fisherman I would not fish any other i have just used the strike king ones in the past and still have a few.

On those bitsy bugs (I don't personally use them), but one of my buddies has quite a bit of luck with those jigs and a bitsy tube on the back.

I probably will pay the extra money just because I like the color selection a lot more. I like alot of the designs on the dirty jig ones too so I'll take a look at those. I guess i"m just a strike king fan lol.
