Hello everyone, Im a recent new member to the College here. This is a very interesting site, with tons of info for the beginner to advanced angler. I live in Jackson, Tn. Have been for my whole 30 years of marriage to a wonderful woman. I left my steel mill job of 28 years as a master maintenance Tech just a few months ago to step it up in the fishing circuits. My wife and I run a very successful animal rescue here in the south. We service all the surounding states. I have been fishing BFL"s for several years now. My steel mill job had me limited to just saturday tourneys(as everyone knows) But now I'm ready to take it to the next level. I am doing the FLW tour majors this year as a co to get a feel for the Travling and multible day tourneys. Probably will be doing some everstarts next year or following year as a boater. If anyone else is doing the tour, I am looking for a travel partner. Look forward to talking with you all thanks Rick Bowen cprdogs.com

Hi Rick, several are doing that here, but I am not sure of their positions on the partners etc. Chuck Bellerby is fishing the FLW and Everstarts, he is one of our Pro Staff here, Tom Wolverton is fishing the Everstart and maybe a major as a co, and several others. You will get to talk to them all this year. Glad to have you here if we can help with anything let us know. I guided on the Potomac and Upper Bay rivers here for a long time and fished Redman long before it was the BFL. Several of our Pro Staff are professional guides, so let us know. Take a look at the Site Navigator video here it helps you find things quickly when you first get here. Tight lines, Steve

I have been looking at a lot of your Potomac videos. You catch a lot of your fish on my favorite baits. I am excited about being there this year.Things are looking up. Friend of mine has a cousin who lives right next to Mt. Vernon property. We are staying there for the week of FLW. So things are looking good. look forward to great future with Bass College Tight lines friend

Welcome aboard Rick. A lot of good sticks here that fish the types of tourneys. Congrats on making the jump to the Majors. Sounds like you have put your time in and have a good plan. Good luck out there. We'll be watching ya!
