Once again the weather was nice to go fishing. But First before i hit the Pond a member from the bass college was so generous to give me a few of his baits he wanted me to have. The man himself was DICKLY man i wasn't expecting all of this from him i had no idea all the baits he was giving me. As you can see below all the baits he gave me man very nice. See this is what the bass college is about giving to one another and making new friends no matter your looks. Hey see u in Spring Dickly and Thanks they will go to good use my friend
So after i meet Dickly i went to my local pond and fished to 5:30 yeah it was a little breeze but it didn't stop me. While i was there a small boat was there and i saw them catch 3 bass and a few chain pickerel. Then as soon as they left it was my turn. I tied on an inlinspinner and badn 5 cast a small but chubby bass hit it Hard. So then i tried the Swimbait and the 12th cast bang another bass just SMASHED the swim bait. Man nice way to start the year off. While i was fishig i saw a few action on top of water the bass where lucky i didn't have a topwater bait. I Guess you'll be seeing more post from here on out.

caught a 5.2 on a storm shad swimbait. $3 at walmart, they work but hard to run right a lot of the time. least compared to the hudds and pricier baits

Posts: 1411 | Mike, Dubi told me you have to stretch them out to get them to swim right.

well also the single treble hook is pretty stupid in my opinion, wish it had least a hook coming out the top fin with it. this is the one i got in black/silver Ranger, more than likely the same as yours. i'll try that out alan, it's been bit enough its pretty flexible. i'm not thrilled with the plastic they used compared to the better swimbaits
