Hey everybody, my name is Carlos and I am from San Diego, CA. I decided to join thebasscollege.com because I am new to freshwater fishing. I am more of a saltwater fishing type of person but fishing for bass has always been on top of my types of fish to catch bucket list. I really have no gear for freshwater so I am currently using my rod and reel i use for freshwater, which is an abu garcia ambassadeur bcx reel with 15 lb. test and a 7 ft. ambassadeur medium rod. I have only one rapala crankbait that has its colors fading away, and a pack of curltails from four years ago. The main reason i decided to join this website is to get advice and tips on different types of gear and tackle that would be helpful for a person like myself who is starting to get into freshwater fishing. I only have one video but hopefully sooner than later i will be posting videos when i go out fishing.
