The Bass College

I was out fishing yesterday on a 100 acre lake in Northeast Pennsylvania. We were there at the crack of dawn until about 11:00. It was 90 degrees when we left. I threw my LP Custom Swim Jigs the entire time and personally boated about 25 fish. These fish were nothing to write home about, just 12-15 inch keepers but that is what the lake is known for. I wanted to dedicate an entire trip to my custom swim jigs and different trailers including zoom ultra vibe speed craws, grandebass megaclaws, and keitech swing impacts in order to get some pictures and video. I caught the majority of my bass on the 3/8 oz black/blue with the speed craw trailer. Watermelon Red with the megaclaws trailer produced about 6 fish and the Apple Shad with a keitech swing impact produced 3 or 4. I also caught 2 on the Spicy Melon with a speed craw. I swam the jig along pad edges, through the pads, through brush, and along laydowns. The key was making the jig contact some type of cover. Overall it was a really fun day and I am working on a video.

I don't care about how big fish are when I'm not in a tournament. I just love catching fish.

Video turned out great, Ill be out sometime next week to try the swim jigs out at a place that can produce numbers, Im sure itll help find the quality bites im looking for out there.
