After a few months of not even thinking about fishing, because of it being too hot to take the boat out (already tried all we got were 2nd degree burns from tuching the darn thing), and the local pont that I fished at People saw that my frends and I were catching lots of big fish, and there came to be more and more people that went there and fished. But too many people with no respect went there and kept the fish that they cought, so now there are only a few left, which is extremely depressing to see something like that happen. Recently I went camping on lake Texoma with my scout troop, where I found out that my frend, Nate, had just gotten a new baitcaster and it was the first time that he has attemped to use it, so I spent most of the time teaching him the most that I could from shore. And I got a coupple of nice ones that only fueled my addiction to go fishing. Now im determined to keep fishing even if it means that I have to walk 6 miles, but as the weather is starting to cool down ill be able to go out on the lake more and get out some reports.

Time to get back out there and do some fishing. I'm just getting the dog up now and going to hit the lake. Water being 80+ , you just need to slow down because their not going to chase baits.

Get out there in the mornings or when the sun is goin down, thats when i fish on hot days. Right now the lake i fish is really low my favorite fishing spots are about dried up! I mostly fish from a kayak or shore so no aluminum or anything that gets to hot durring the day.
